The Fadensteig is one of the classic approaches to the Schneeberg massif. The climb should only be done in dry conditions. The delicate passages are secured with ropes.

Nice long hike on Schneeberg. Over the Fadensteig to the Kaiserstein summit and then to the Fischerhütte, on to the summit cross Klosterwappen. Back to the direction Edelweisshütte it goes over the Schauerstein and a longer forest section.

If you want to walk to the Schneeberg, the fastest way is over the Fadensteig.
Easy climbing, the climb is partially secured with steel cables.
