After work, a workout in the Hamelner Stadtwald. As is usual in the Weserbergland, it went up and down mainly on forest paths.
The gravel paths were dry, but unfortunately often very uneven due to former watercourses.
Be careful when riding downhill!

Today we were on Hameln's local mountain, the Klüt.
We started early and it still got really warm on the Klütsüdhang.
Nice ups and downs on mostly narrow hiking trails with some beautiful views of Hameln and the surrounding area!

Today we were in Rinteln in high summer sunshine. The Weserradweg is always very beautiful and in Rinteln you can eat well in the Ratskeller. On the way back, we took the freshly serviced ferry to Großenwieden. A very nice 🚲 round.

On the last day of our tour, we rode back to Ghent with a tailwind. First along the Leie river, then next to the railway line. A great cycle superhighway with many road cyclists. A beautiful end to the West Flanders tour.

Today we rode to Lille in strong headwinds. Once there, we waited 2 hours in a cafe for the rain to stop. Then it went great with a long stretch along the canal back to Belgium 🇧🇪.
