Today we were brave. Despite the bad weather forecast and rain in the morning, our hiking group did this demanding tour. The rain soon stopped, but there was a proper wind. After the ascent and a short break at the hut, the highly interesting glacier crossing began. Simply extraordinary!

Today the tour went over the Tabaretta hut to over 3000 m altitude to the Payer hut. A very beautiful hiking tour that already demands good fitness. Great views between the clouds into the valley and of the Ortler. With sure-footedness and fitness, a highly recommended mountain hike.

As the hiking guide promises, it's a quick 3000er. After continuous rain in the morning, we went up 48 hairpin bends to 2760m. Then the last 260 meters of altitude were indeed quickly conquered. The remains of a camp from World War I unfortunately remind us of the madness of war.
Conclusion: Beautiful and short mountain hike

Summit ascent of the Eisseespitze at 3230 m with a magnificent view of the glacier and mountain world. Despite the 2 cable car rides, it was a very demanding tour, as the mountain path also required the use of hands in some places.

After work, a workout in the Hamelner Stadtwald. As is usual in the Weserbergland, it went up and down mainly on forest paths.
The gravel paths were dry, but unfortunately often very uneven due to former watercourses.
Be careful when riding downhill!

Today we were on Hameln's local mountain, the Klüt.
We started early and it still got really warm on the Klütsüdhang.
Nice ups and downs on mostly narrow hiking trails with some beautiful views of Hameln and the surrounding area!
