From here you have the best view of the castle, which is perched on an impressive rock overlooking the Neckar and is framed by picturesque forest.

Burg Zwingenberg is privately owned and can therefore only be visited on request. More information can be found on the website: schloss-zwingenberg.de/fuehrungen.php

A great sight here, if you cycle along the Neckar-Radweg.
The nature lovers with their gastronomy are also not far away and so everyone can do something for the senses.

Who cycles on the left side of the Neckar has little or no car noise / danger. Great is the crossing of the bridge on the left side of the Neckar. From here down to Eberbach.

Zwingenberg Castle is simply beautiful! And to see from the road to Neunkirchen in all splendor. In addition, the road is highly recommended even for cyclists, because pleasant to drive with little traffic.

Coming over the Neckartal Cycle Path from Eberbach, take a little break in the Naturfreundehaus (open Wednesday to Sunday) and then be prepared for the climb towards Neunkirchen, Aglasterhausen or Schönbrunn.

There are many paths leading to the castle, whether by bike or as a hiking trail

A little further down the Neckar, here left no longer in the picture, is the Naturfreunde Haus. There you can relax in the summer and eat simple dishes, sausage, pommes, cakes and of course drinks while enjoying the view of the river Neckar and the castle.

From Neckargemünd down to Heilbronn the Neckarradweg is great to drive. As a rule, roads that are closed to cars always travel along the Neckar, with only a few inclines to overcome. Zwingenberg Castle is wonderfully situated above the Neckar, from the cycle path you have the perfect view. If you need a break, you should not miss the Naturfreundehaus Zwingenberg - which is difficult to do, as it is right on the way.
