The Neckar cycle path offers a lot of beautiful and idyllic sections that are easy to ride with every bike.
Castles and palaces can be admired everywhere, so there is a lot to see.
However, there are also relatively dreary parts, especially in the area of the large cities of Mannheim, Heilbronn and the greater Stuttgart area.
But there are also pretty bad sections that can be a nuisance for riders with trekking or even racing bikes. Here you could not assume that it should be a premium bike path and it is best to switch to the other side.
Overall, the bike path is already recommended.
