A building of this craftsmanship still exists today, even if today only the name "Antik Schmiede" has remained. In 1717, Claus Follmer's smithy was first mentioned; it remained in the family until the last village blacksmith, Richard Stüven, who died in 1988 and was a descendant of Follmer.
