After the somewhat strenuous climb to Stone Arthur (good place for a first rest) and continue until just before the Great Rigg (if you want, you can of course also take this summit well) is the hike on this trail (initially sloping and later light again soaring) and offers wonderful views towards Ambleside, Grasmere and Rydal Water.
