Fantastically located mountain hut between Rosengarten and Seiser Alm below the Roßzahn.
The climb to the hut requires good fitness. You will be rewarded with a “mountain hotel” in a magnificent landscape with a high level of comfort.

From the Seiseralm over the Schlern to the Tierser Alpl hut and past the Rosszähne back to the Alpe di Siusi was a great experience.

What a hut! Beautiful location, modern and then also good food .... If you have the time, you should stay here. Not to compare with other cottage nearby ...

At 2564 m, Monte Petz is the highest point in the Sciliar massif. The symbol of the South Tyrolean Dolomites consists of an extensive plateau and several peaks, from which the Santner and the Euringer peaks stand out. From the summit of the Sciliar you have a great view of the rose garden and the Sassolungo group.
The starting point of the hike is compatibility. We cross the Alpe di Siusi on path no.10 until we reach the Tschapit Weg. This branches slightly downhill, to the left. We hike up to the Saltnerhütte. We follow path no. 5 uphill. After about 1 km, this turns into the steeper path No. 1. Serpentines take us to the Schlern massif high plateau. Once we have reached this, it goes on Via Alpina (Gelber Weg) to the Schlernhaus. Behind it we turn right and take path 4 to Monte Pez.

Try to start this hike as early as possible. The tranquility and beautiful views are more than worth the early climb.
