>> With the "Gate to the Neolithic" by the artist Prof. Irena Racek, the double circular moat in Puch is marked. Through this mighty wood-earth gate, visitors can start their journey back to the Neolithic Age at the foot of the Kalten Stube. In both places, in Glaubendorf as well as in Puch, the landowners strive to maintain these 7000-year-old facilities and make the monumental buildings in their fields visible with different vegetation over the trenches. Why simple peasants from the mid-Neolithic Age dug so deep trenches 2000 years before the Egyptians and set up such mighty complexes with palisades is not entirely clear. The most recent research tends towards fixed places with a calendar function, which are based on the starry sky. <<
