The Grüner Mühle is a water mill formerly used as an oil mill and paper mill on the Grüner weir below the Weidenhäuser bridge in Marburg an der Lahn on the edge of today's southern district. In addition to the "Green Gate" at the southern end of the street "Am Grün", the historic waterfront of Marburg with small-scale houses directly on the banks of the Lahn, this was the southern outskirts of the city before the expansion of the city with the southern district, which was built in around 1880. The mill was first mentioned in documents in 1248.

There is so much to discover in Weidenhausen and you don't really know where to look first. You might miss the former millet mill, which is located directly on Trojedamm and was built in 1714.
