The ruins of the former monkey house lie on a stream that has now dried up. Martin Ernst von Schlieffen is said to have kept his monkeys there.
The building has now completely fallen into disrepair, but the remains suggest a square floor plan. A badly dilapidated staircase leads from the stream bed to the slightly elevated building. Below the monkey house there was a now collapsed grotto about 5 m in diameter.

Remains of the former monkey house of the estate owner Martin Ernst von Schlieffen. The monkey house was used as a winter quarters. The monkeys otherwise lived a free life within the Windhauser grove, but probably had to be killed due to a rabies infection.
