Whether from Sax to Frümsen or from Frümsen to Sax: Hiking on the Trübliweg at the foot of the south-eastern Alpstein chain is a pure landscape experience - even more: It is also an edifying excursion into the fascinating world of viticulture and wine.
The Trübliweg, which was launched by local winegrowers in 2002 as part of the Regio-Plus project "Personality Werdenberg" and opened in 2004, takes around a half-hour hike (pure walking time) past the beautifully situated vineyards of Wisflegge, Rosenberg, Spielberg, Winterberg and Wingert. Along the way, nine entertaining information boards provide interesting facts about vines, grapes and wine. And by arrangement, the four winegrowers are happy to open their cozy Rebhüsli and Torkel to smaller or larger groups for private and business events.
