This church is located on Via di Francesco and its origins date back to the 11th century. It is located north of Valfabbrica on the right bank of the Chiascio river. The climb from Barcaccia to Biscina is about 250 meters from the castle of Coccorano.
The current church, which has undergone numerous renovations over the centuries, retains the apse to the east with the dedicated bell tower above. Below the church there is a small place to rest and a fantastic view of the valley.
