The Baroque defenses in the Black Forest, also known as Baroque ski jumps or Black Forest lines, are ski jumps (earth fortifications) in the Black Forest that have been built since the 17th century to defend against enemy invasion by France. With the adjacent lines, the Black Forest complexes form a defense system over 200 kilometers long from north to south.
