Tips

The Hochkopf lies at an altitude of 1,263 meters. If you climb onto the observation deck, you are ten meters higher. From here you can see the surrounding mountains Belchen, Feldberg, the Vosges and, in good visibility, even the Alpine panorama. The wooden structure built in 1925 is freely accessible.

  • The Hochkopfturm is at an altitude of 1267 m. The tower can also be climbed. From the top you have a great 360° view. The Swiss Alps are particularly impressive!
There is also a large rest area with many benches and tables.

  • Not overflowing and great views of the wooded heights of the southern Black Forest. Depending on the lighting and the position of the sun one becomes aware again why the Black Forest is so called!

  • Nice view in all directions. It's pretty tight on the tower. Therefore, you should always wait until the predecessor comes down again 🦊
