A very technical passage - almost climbing - with a succession of ladders that connect the Lac des Dix to the Arolla valley. It is not protected nor advised for those who suffer from vertigo. A good experience at the top!

Hiking

The ladders are closed due to rockfall at the base of the ladders and cracks in the rockface around the ladders. The alternative is to go over Riedmatten.

A section of vertical ladders in two parts. No safety features so if you fall you fall. Moral of the story is don't fall....
