This church in Oberhundem is dedicated to Saint Lambertus. He lived from 635 to 705, was a messenger of the faith in Brabant and bishop of Maastricht. He died as a martyr (martyr) for his Christian beliefs. The memorial day of Saint Lambertus in the calendar of saints is September 17th.
