The younger Krefeld Jewish cemetery with its large mourning hall is on Alte Gladbacher Straße, next to the municipal cemetery. The cemetery, opened in 1901, has been occupied since 1903 to this day. In 1935 graves were moved here from the Hoterheide Jewish cemetery in Osterath (Meerbusch municipality). Between 730 and 800 tombstones have been preserved here (uni-heidelberg.de), 834 inscriptions from the years 1874 to the present day are documented in the epigraphic database epidat of the Steinheim Institute in Essen.
The cemetery, which is surrounded by hedges, is not signposted, there are signs with the opening hours on site.
