The Schnippenkopf is a 1,833 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. It lies in the "Sonnenköpfe" designated mountain range, which branches off at the Gundkopf to the north and the Illertal bounded east and ends in Imberger Horn at Hindelang. The Schnippenkopf is the highest and most southerly of the partially wooded elevations, which follow north on the Entsche head.The snipping head can be easily reached on marked trails. A popular ascent is from the Gaisalpe via the Falkenjoch and over the grassy slopes to the summit.
