The waterfalls are really worth seeing. The circular route is highly recommended. Exciting, how the water seeks its way. We were traveling with the dog. He was also excited! ;)

The waterfall is totally sweet and a nice starting point on the route to the Spitzingsattel

There is also a 1.5 hour waterfall trail to do there. Well signposted. Great with dogs!

Always a nice destination, especially for families with children. However, it is advisable to choose a time when not too many people are traveling ...

The trail below the breaker tip of the Spitzingsattel is very narrow and requires surefootedness. The path is bad to walk and sometimes slippery and greasy. Large trees are partially over the path
which also leads over scree fields. At times, the path is no longer visible.

Better not on the weekend, it is always terribly overcrowded.

This little mountain hike inspires me again and again: you can drive to the end of the village in Josefstal, but there is little parking. It is best to stay in Josefstalerstr. stand roughly at the church. This means about 2km more walk.
Arrived at the waterfall, keep walking along the water.
The path leads partly step over stones steeply upwards. Attention,
    slippery!
After about 30-40 minutes you come to a meadow, ideal for a snack break. Also for children and dogs for a break in and around the water.
Then it continues in stages to
    Podium.
From there, a somewhat steep forest path leads up to the Spitzingsattel.
Reached this via a footpath down to the Spitzingsee.
    Have fun!

Nice hike, partly cross-country. The landscape is an absolute dream. Sure-footedness and sturdy shoes are a prerequisite for this tour.

Beautiful circular route, first a little climbing along the mountain stream, then on the second part a relaxed walk on a wide hiking trail.

There is an upper and lower waterfall. Both look very nice. It is also worth taking the waterfall path.

At all huts, due to corona measures, you should expect corresponding waiting times. So either wait an hour or just take everything with you

Anyone can climb up to the first waterfall without hesitation. Even with children. However, to complete the Josefstaler waterfall circuit, I recommend sturdy shoes, as the path is very well trodden and very slippery, especially in damp weather.

Waterfalls can be reached in 10 minutes from the car park. The hiking trail always runs directly uphill along the falls.
