The church, a "complete complex", was built in the 2nd half of the 12th century. The brick upper floor of the tower dates from the 16th century. The interior was thoroughly renovated in the 19th century. Well worth seeing organ from 1861 from the workshop of Lütkemüller Wittstock. The oldest pieces of the church are two bronze bells from the 13th century in the tower.
