Next door the bivouac is accessible inside, very spacious, with tables and benches; There are also tables and benches outside on the large lawn. A quiet place to rest and have a packed lunch.

Purchased by the Municipality of Mel in 2003, the bivouac was recovered and restored by the Alpine Hunting Reserve of Mel in the years 2007-2008. Today it is a graceful two-level structure, named in memory of Alberto "Berto" Monestier. Downstairs a living area with stove, upstairs a wooden table that can accommodate about 3-4 people.
