Great mountain hike over the Güggisgrat to the Burgfeldstand and Gemmenalphorn.
If you want, you can go inside via the Seven Stallions or through the Justistal back to Beatenbucht. The panorama is beautiful.

It is recommended to first hike west of the mountain hut to the end of the ridge, because from here you can admire a magnificent view of Lake Thun and the surrounding towns as far as the Jura. You reach the Bugfeldstand, the highest point of the hike, via alpine meadows. If you are lucky, you will see an eagle or a bearded vulture on its reconnaissance flight or encounter chamois. The area of the ibex and ptarmigan stretches from the Burgfeldstand to the Gemmenalphorn. Flower lovers will find numerous mountain flowers here.

        Beautiful hiking trail!
On one side you look down to Lake Thun and Interlaken, on the other side you have wonderful insights into the Justia Valley and over to Sigriswiller Rothorn.

If you are lucky, you will meet ibexes!

The ridge rises east of the Niederhorn to 2063 meters at the Burgfeldstand and again to 2061 meters at the Gemmenalphorn, with some nameless surveys in between. The Seefeld nature reserve with the karst area of the seven stallions, whose highest peak once again reaches 1952 meters, is located at the eastern foot at around 1,700 meters.
