Tips

Beautiful little dried out well. Next to it is a small rest area with a hut with benches and a wonderful view down to the Heidelberg Castle.

  • Ein 🐟 namens Wander

The "Zollstock" is the small pass between the Heiligenberg and the Weiße Stein. Here there are several paths that intersect and there is a refuge with several resting benches, and a viewing path offers a great view of the Heidelberg Castle.
The well located along the way was subsequently moved there - it only leads to water, if there were corresponding amounts of precipitation.

Easy hike to the fountain also possible in winter. Near the fountain are several benches with tables from which you have a wonderful view of Heidelberg.

Camino Incluso: there are many paths on the folding rule. The Camino Incluso pilgrimage route goes over the Heiligenberg to Heidelberg ("Heidelberg demanding route"). A bypass (U3) is offered, left down the Odenwälderweg ("Heidelberg easy route"): on komoot: Camino Incluso-06_Variante-1

Large rest area with a wonderful view of the castle. In order to ensure a view, the aisle in the forest is kept clear. Unfortunately, the well is dry.

Unfortunately dry, there is an explanation on site. Right at the rest area of the same name.

A dried up well, which instead of liquid, offers spiritual refreshment. Next to it is an information board that explains why the fountain no longer has any water.

Camino Incluso: there are many paths on the folding rule. The Camino Incluso pilgrimage route goes over the Heiligenberg to Heidelberg ("Heidelberg demanding route"). However, a bypass 3 (U3) is offered, left down the Odenwälderweg without an incline to Heidelberg ("Heidelberg easy route"), but on a distance of 1700 m with a gradient of 10%, on the first 400 m up to 12%: on komoot: Camino Incluso-06_Variante-1
