Riva with its charming old town and the many small shops and the spacious pedestrian streets and squares is always worth a visit. In summer, the beach is almost always completely occupied and there is a lot going on around the shores of the lake. Whether surfers, swimmers, sun worshipers, bikers or walkers, they all enjoy the great atmosphere.

Riva del Garda, lively, beautiful, sports "metropolis". Located on the narrow northern tip of Lake Garda, the site attracts thousands of tourists every year for mountain biking, climbing, sailing and surfing.

Unfortunately, the place Riva is now completely crowded in the summer months and during the day you have as a cyclist no fun.
It is worthwhile, however, to avoid the surrounding villages or to start very early in the morning.

Riva del Garda is a town on the northern shore of Lake Garda, part of Trentino. Together with the neighboring municipality of Arco Riva del Garda forms a contiguous settlement area of more than 30,000 inhabitants. Riva was already inhabited in Roman times. Riva used to belong to Austria-Hungary and at that time was called Reiff am Gartsee. During the First World War Riva was a fortress and was shot at by the Italian artillery, which caused considerable damage. After the war, it was ceded to Italy in the Treaty of St. Germain.
