Ponale Trail

Super downhill track with gravel and again small, earthy hills and curves. Not only is downhill fun, but the ride uphill is unique. Always a great view of the Lago and pleasant slope percentages. In the high season you have to count up and down again and again with oncoming traffic (bikers and runners).

The old road as a climb to Lake Ledro offers many very nice views - including Lake Garda. Highly Recommended.

However, many pedestrians and cyclists are bustling here. I was lucky that the weather brought some rain in the last week of April and therefore relatively little was going on. Other bikers I spoke to have already had some "summer disasters".

You have to be careful in the tunnel sections.
When you enter a tunnel when the sun is shining, you see little at first. There, some incorrigible people came from above, not only without light (which is uncool on a mountain bike), but also much too quickly - whether that always has to be?

Despite everything, you have to see it.
