From our campsite, we went up to Foreste Umbra today. The route was not very spectacular, most of the time it goes steadily uphill through the forest. The last few kilometers become a bit steeper, but it always remained rideable.

Matera - Sasso Caveoso
Die nächste Wanderung ging ins Sasso Caveoso, der zweite Teil der beiden Sassi in Matera. Nicht weniger beeindruckend wie der erste Teil gestern. Wir besichtigten zwei unterirdische Kirchen, ein im vorherigen Jahrhundert bewohntes Haus im Felsen und stiegen hinauf zur Felsenkirche.
