In addition to the forest house and the new buildings, there is also the old cemetery with the foundations of one of the churches to be discovered. We cycled directly up the mountain with our bikes to the cemetery (49.545736, 12.603049) and the church. In autumn there are huge chestnuts along the way to collect and there are always benches to rest - for those who are not so good on foot. You can always see traces of the old buildings in the forest, but nothing clear anymore.
Once at the top you will find a beautifully restored cemetery, but many gravestones have also been destroyed. The church - dedicated to John the Baptist - has disappeared down to the foundation wall and a stone altar. A very old tombstone from 1686 is embedded in the floor of the former choir room. A stone wall surrounds the cemetery, old trees provide shade, it is wonderfully quiet. This is actually a place to rest and recover something. For the more adventurous, there is a small, empty crypt to be discovered, which is hidden under a few loose concrete slabs.
