Hengsteysee - Hengsteysee bridge with a view
On the Hengsteysee Bridge the Hengsteystrasse (serpentine), which is located on the Dortmund city, changes its name to Hagener Stadtgebiet to Dortmunder Straße, which crosses the Hengsteysee lake and offers great views of the reservoir, the banks and the Syberg. There are several parking spaces on both sides of the bridge. Here from the bridge you can walk or carry your bike via a staircase to reach the lower headland, which extends to the mouth of the Lennemündung.
