A very beautiful part of the Ruhr Valley Cycle Path and the Lenne Route. Hengsteysee and Harkortsee belong together like brother and sister. Both are former bodies of water used by heavy industry that have been converted into well-used recreational waters with good water quality, flora and fauna.
