About 25 km south of Nuremberg, in the green middle between Roth, Hilpoltstein and Allersberg, lies the Rothsee. Here you can relax all year round. Bathing friends are welcome guests in the spacious bathing areas of the 210-hectare water area. Sailors and surfers find on the Rothsee main barrier an ideal area.

On manicured lawns it can relax and rest. Children can enjoy three modern, spacious playgrounds.

A 12-kilometer riverside path leads around the lake. Especially in spring and autumn you can go for relaxing walks. The path connects the three beach houses, which invite to stop.

For wheelchair users free parking and special facilities are available. During educational tours of the Federal Association for Bird Protection rare bird species can be observed, which have settled in the nature reserve.
