About 25 km south of Nuremberg, in the green middle between Roth, Hilpoltstein and Allersberg, lies the Rothsee. Here you can relax all year round. Mountain biking

Planning and completion took about 20 years. The Vorsperre was built between 1985 and 1990, the main barrier between 1985 and 1992. Completion and flooding of the main barrier took place in October 1993. [1] Residents of Hasenbruck and Fischhof had to be relocated for the construction. (Wikipedia)
