Wulverghem Lindenhoek Road Military Cemetery was started in December 1914 by four battalions of the 5th Division and was initially known as 'Dressing Station Cemetery'. The cemetery remained in use until June 1917 and again in September and October 1918. Many graves were added later from nearby battlefields and smaller cemeteries.
