September 21, 2022 - Melk Abbey The monastery well from the 17th century is located in the Prälatenhof. Today's baroque monastery fountain, from the 17th century, comes from the Waldhausen monastery in Upper Austria, which was closed by Josef II. It was not erected here until 1820.
