The powder tower is at the apex of Hiesbergstrasse (between St. Leonhard and Melk). Here, however, only the sign on a cut stump reminds of the former ammunition depot of the Melker barracks. Only a piece of the foundations from the watchman's house can still be seen on the left road towards Melk.
