You may not think so, but even in a vibrant city like Cologne you can immerse yourself in nature just like in the country. The Höhenfelder See is such a natural oasis and makes you think of Scandinavia (especially in autumn). In the middle of the landscape conservation area, a stable shore path leads around the lake, past wooden boats and reeds. However, swimming is dangerous here and is therefore prohibited.
