Bike Touring Highlight
The Stein'sche Burg is the ruin of a mountain castle near the city Nassau in the Rhein-Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland-Palatinate. It is located below the castle Nassau between the valleys of the Lahn and the Mühlbach. The castle was the ancestral seat of the imperial freemen of and to the stone, whose most famous member was the Prussian reformer Heinrich Friedrich Karl from and to the stone. In the initial phase of the Thirty Years' War, the family moved their headquarters to the former Zehnthof in downtown Nassau, which they then expanded into Stein's Castle.
