Hiking

Part of a remarkable biotope mosaic in the Sebald Reichswald. As early as the 1980s, this area along the Gründlach creek was wet again, so that an alder break with subsequent deciduous fence could regenerate. Water accumulation combined with the exemption of spruce and pine brought about the renaturation of a Anmoores with cotton grass, sundew and peat moss.
