Bartholomäberg is one of the oldest mining areas in the Alpine region. In the middle of the beautiful mountain panorama is the historic mine, which has been restored to keep its original character.
The historic Bartholomäberg mine, the only show mine in Vorarlberg, has reopened since 2010.
Under the expert guidance of Hubert Telitschko, you will experience the fascination of the historic mine and learn about the harsh working conditions of miners in the past. Duration of the mine tour: approx. 30 min. Recommended equipment: sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for these cool conditions. Protective clothing is provided to each visitor during the tour. The temperature in the mine is about + 8 ° C. The mine can be reached on foot in about 50 minutes from the Baroque church of Bartholomäberg.
