The entrance to the baron of Enzberg is at the end of Schlossstrasse, about 100 meters next to the front castle. The castle was built around 1200 when the city was founded on the so-called Nussbühl. The renovation of the complex in 1751-1753 changed the castle significantly and gave it its current appearance. Mühlheim Castle is still the residence of the von Enzberg family and can therefore not be visited.
