Around 1,000 tankers dock at the seven docking stations in the oil port every year. Around 1 million tons of mineral oil products are handled each year. The oil port is connected by pipelines to the Lobau central tank farm and the refinery in Schwechat. The oil port is connected to the rail network via the freight station in Lobau. The port stations are equipped with online measuring systems and fully automatic loading systems. The pumping and loading stations are located on floating pontoons. Due to its location, the area is ideal for high-emission and transport-oriented companies.
