Lobau National Park House

Northern "entrance" to the Lobau National Park. You don't have to go through here, but the house is worth a visit. And there is a bicycle repair point at the front.

Right at the entrance to Lobau, the TonAu exhibition, which can be visited free of charge, leads into the world of the Danube floodplains and becomes an experience space for visitors. The garden offers an adventure playground and picnic benches. There is an information point in the entrance area. During opening hours, various brochures and books on the topics of Danube-Auen National Park, ecology and nature, as well as articles for discovering and exploring the floodplain, such as magnifying glasses and identification books, can be purchased here.There is a room for seminars on the upper floor. It can also be used for special exhibitions, readings, lectures and film screenings:

The National Park House serves as a multifunctional information and environmental center at the entrance to the national park. You can find out more here and plan your tours from here. The staff will be happy to help you if you have any questions about the flora and fauna of the Lobau. The large playground invites you to linger and drinking fountains and clean sanitary facilities are also available.
Environmental education is a top priority in the National Park House. Every year, as part of the "Lobau Forest School", numerous school classes, kindergarten groups, etc. are guided through the national park to introduce people to the national park and all its special features. In this way, responsible interaction with nature is taught in a playful way.
Annually changing exhibitions in the National Park House, which was built in 2007, also offer the opportunity to gain new experiences and impressions.
