The building, erected around 1870 by the daughters of the merchant Morewood, served as a residential home for the elderly. It has become known under the name "Morewood pen". Today it houses the local history museum of the Wandsbeker Citizens' Association, including with Claudius room, hussar room and castle model. (Open: Tuesdays 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and 1st Sunday of the month 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.)
