    The "flour berry"
It runs directly under the rock walls of the "Hollow Mountain." Along the flowering rock bands here grow a rare relic from the Ice Age:
Franconian Whitebeam - Wolfseed Hat - Speckled Arum - Fly Orchis (a rare native orchid)

This beautiful trail winds mostly as a narrow path at the foot of imposing rocks along and offers beautiful views of the Wiesenttal Muggendorf. Its name is derived from the Franconian whitetail, which occurs worldwide only in Franconian Switzerland. This vulnerable, threatened tree species relies on sunny locations, which is why the slopes on the flour berry must be kept free. In the past that was done by the numerous flocks of sheep, today people often have to resort to sawing.

Fascinating very narrow hiking trail along the rock formations.
Warning: long trousers and / or mosquito / tick spray is recommended, as the path is narrowed in many places on the right and left with tall grass and smaller bushes - evasion is not possible!

Beautiful path along the Muggendorfer rocks. Unfortunately sometimes a bit crowded.

Highly recommended. One of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Wiesent Valley, closely along the rocks with a view of the valley.

Beautiful, sleepy path on the mountain. The stairs are by no means effortless. The view through the thicket, the lush green that surrounds you and the views are worth a visit.

The Mehlbeeren-Steig takes its name from the Franconian whitebeam, which can only be found here in the Franconian Switzerland. It belongs to the rose family and has developed from the whitebeam and the wild service tree.
