From Kreuzfelsen you have a magnificent view over the Black Forest.

Absolutely beautiful vantage point that was unknown to me as a local for a long time. Those who are not afraid of the steep ascent can climb up straight from the parking lot. Entry via the waterfall path is, however, recommended.

Already the detour to the viewpoint worthwhile. And the rock, of course, all the more.

Once you're up, it compensates for the efforts of the climb :)

But the way is worth a visit. And only the view ...

The view is impressive. The rocky plateau is quite small. Only suitable for a limited number of people.

Fantastic view of Battert and Merkur, over the Rhine plain and on a clear day even as far as the Vosges.

Wonderful view with a view of the castle. It is worthwhile to take a short break here and let your gaze wander.

The path begins at the parking lot above the Bütthof and leads to the Kreuzfelsen.
A nice, narrow path in the forest.

The lookout is on the cross rock, on which a cross has stood for 120 years.

There are 5 towers to see, Badener Höhe, Y-Burg-Turm, Fremersbergturm, Merkurturm and the Karlsruher Turm on the Mahlberg.

Great mountain bike tour up and down here. On weekends before 10 a.m. or after 5 p.m.
