Tips
There is more climbing on this side of the Hirnant climb starting from Lake Vyrnwy. The 4km climb can be divided into four sections - the first 1km steeply beyond the trees (logs) before the second km offers some pause in comparison. Kilometer 3 is difficult again through the forest, before kilometer 4 is a little easier to summit and cross back to Snowdonia National Park.
