The Hirschberg is a 1500 meter high mountain located in the Allgäu Alps north of Bad Hindelang. A special feature is the summit cross, which is not directly on the highest point of the mountain. Since the highest point cannot be seen from the village of Bad Hindelang, the cross was erected south of the summit. From the summit cross you have a wonderful view over the entire Ostrachtal to Sonthofen.

The view from the Hirschberg to the Ostrachtal is unique. Depending on the choice of route, the trail leads over the wildly romantic Hirschbachtobel up to the 1456 meter high summit. But even on a round trip from the parking lot on the Jochpassstrasse you can roam the Tobelweg.
Refreshments: Hirschalpe (small detour), Café Polite
Parking: free Hirschalpe car park, halfway up the Joch Pass
