The Palantina dairy is located on a large and wild mountain pasture, surrounded by the Cansiglio woods and the slope of the peak of the same name.
The suggestive panorama opens onto the Monte Cavallo group, the Alpago and Belluno mountains.

The dairy is a private structure now in disuse and, therefore, in a state of abandonment. Nearby, however, you can find a table with benches where you can rest and eat a snack.

Casera Palantina is a structure that stands on the edge of the Bosco del Cansiglio, between the slopes of the homonymous peak. It enjoys a sunny and panoramic position overlooking the Monte Cavallo group, the Alpago mountains and the Belluno Dolomites.

Crossroads of numerous paths, it is a symbolic structure rendered unusable by an arson that destroyed it in October 2012. The usual meeting place for mountaineers and environmentalists who meet here every year to demonstrate in defense of the integrity of the ancient forest of Cansiglio, asking for the establishment of a protected area and the definitive archiving of the project of connection with ski lifts between Piancavallo and Alpago.
