Kleba is the northernmost district of the Niederaula market town in the eastern Hessfeld district of Rotenburg. It is located northwest of the main town in the Waldhessen region.
The place was first mentioned in documents in 1361. At that time the village was called Zu Cleben. It wasn't until the 15th century that the place name developed into today's Kleba.
There is a village community center in the village.
The 880 m long auditorium bridge runs near the district.
On August 22, 1977, around 3 p.m., the village was affected by a dam break in the dam of Lake Ibra. The flood water content of 500,000 m³ of water poured through the valley in a tidal wave up to three meters high.
