    Always good for a rest!

Breite Föhre was a popular excursion destination on the slopes of the Anninger near Mödling, from which there is a wide view down to the valley of the Vienna Basin. The tree was one of the most famous natural monuments of the 19th century in the area of Vienna, whose age goes back to the 16th century (dead in 1988, remains in the Lower Austria State Museum).

  • Peter Türk 😊

Unfortunately, in 1997 the over 450 year old tree had to be removed for safety reasons.

For this purpose a new "Breite Föhre II" was planted.
The small shelter is a welcome dry spot even in case of downpours.

Why do you need a rest on the way to the Anningerhaus? But yes IT would be a possibility! Much more important is this highlight because some really hard secret singletrack have their starting point! I DO NOT put you in for your safety!

So how many pictures Peter Türk does NOT want to add to every highlight !? His luck is just his great following and I ned the WHOLE insider tips from the Anninger preisgeb because it's something of hell if I'm a pioneer there or there but right now there are limits! How to spend most of his life on the computer or something like that I ask myself ..... because in the end, the creation and addition takes 9 photos longer than a complete tour of him! Fact!
