The Las Vegas Monorail is a public transit system in Las Vegas. The "monorail" opened on July 15, 2004, after many delays. Plans to extend the route to the airport were initiated in November 2005 and have been awaiting implementation ever since. It has seven stations and takes 14 minutes to travel the "Las Vegas Strip" (6.3 km).
